Thanks for stopping by my page. I am 32 years of age.. Feel older though not gonna lie .
I am married to a wonderful strong most courageous man I know. He served nine years active duty army and two years reservers with two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
The last deployment was the breaking point and has caused new trials and tribulations In our life such as ptsd and tbi. Many other injuries as well. He struggles every day as we struggle to get the VA to help.
This is our story Good bad and in between.
Never a dull moment for me lol, and some of this stuff I can’t even make up if I tried.
I would like to think am very strong even though I myself have my bad days… I have been through hell and back my whole life and I feel it was gods way of preparing me for my marriage and life as an adult.
I have been through it all.. I had skin cancer at 15 years old.
Countless heart surgeries with the first one being open heart surgery at three months old.
Seven after that tell I was 15 when my last one was.
I have been through my own traumatic experience when I was 16 with sexual assault.
Everyone has tough times in life.. I feel it’s how we react that is the life changing part. No one is perfect and everyone is just in this human experience trying to grow and learn from the lessons we are faced. It’s all about how you look at life. It’s all about your emotions and how you react. This is my journey my families journey with our daughter and husband with injuries me as a caregiver as well as leader in the caregiver community.
